The crowd in the mohalla of COLORS’ ‘BIGG BOSS’ thins down by one contestant as the master of the house introduced a shocking eviction drill right after bringing in the New Year celebration. ‘BIGG BOSS’ empowered the current and former captains of the house to nominate three contestants for eviction. Among the nominees Ayesha Khan, Abhishek Kumar and Anurag Dobhal, the latter was shown the door as a non-deserving contestant by the rest of the housemates. According to the housemates who voted to oust him, he was all about flaunting his fanbase and wealth while not lifting a finger to contribute to the show.
Anurag Dobhal entered the show to represent his home state Uttarakhand. After a few days, the rider accused the master of favouring the actors on the show over the rest of the contestants. ‘BIGG BOSS’ took notice and staged a face-off between television actors and social media sensations. The rider was known for making sagacious observations on the game and contestants that earned him the nickname ‘Anurag Baba’. The rider went through a rough patch, where he was convinced that he wanted to voluntarily quit the show. He violated the cardinal rule of the house by breaking its property in a fit of rage and that resulted in him being nominated for the entire season until the perennial nomination was passed on to Neil Bhatt. Upon realising the gravity of the platform, Anurag was determined to make a mark on the show after fighting his inhibitions. He struck up a solid friendship with Mannara Chopra, only to turn the tables by nominating her later on. As his journey ended, he didn’t forget his pal Mannara, requesting Ayesha Khan to pass on his love.
Looking back on her journey in the mohalla of ‘BIGG BOSS’, Anurag Dobhal says, “I am very sure if the eviction drill panned out conventionally, I would’ve been in the house. I found myself on the wrong side of many housemates’ favouritism. I have lived every moment in the house with authenticity and made my home state proud. The abundant love I’ve received from people all over the country is overwhelming. I can’t thank my Brosena enough for supporting me and standing by me through thick and thin. While I had hoped to present the real me on the show, I think it didn’t quite capture that aspect of my personality. Despite this, I don’t have any regrets because my life was visible before, and it will continue to unfold in front of people’s eyes. In the future, my fans will witness an improved version of me. I’m grateful to the platform for the role it played in shaping me into a better individual. The challenges I faced within the confines of the house contributed greatly to my emotional and mental strength. The experience pushed me beyond my limits, compelling me to confront aspects of myself that I hadn’t explored before. I’ve emerged stronger, ready to face whatever life throws my way.”
