Final Year Students Present Innovative Projects Showcasing Creativity, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation
Indus University, in collaboration with the Indus Institute of Technology and Engineering (IITE), Indus Institute of Communication and Technology (IICT), and the Western India Institute of Aeronautics (WIIA), successfully held their annual project exhibition for various engineering and technology programs on April 29 and 30, 2024. Over 700 students participated, presenting more than 300 diverse projects that demonstrated their creativity, innovative ideas, and entrepreneurial skills.
The event was held on the university campus and commenced with a special inauguration ceremony in the institution’s auditorium. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Vinod Agrawal, the former Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Gujarat State Council and Chairman of Arunaya Organics Pvt. Ltd. His presence added a significant highlight to the event and illuminated his contributions and experiences within the business community of Gujarat.
Furthermore, Mr. Nilesh Ranpura, the Director of Engineering at e-Infochips, Ahmedabad, was present as a Guest of Honor and delivered a keynote speech. He provided profound insights into various aspects of semiconductor engineering, which is crucial for modern technology and innovation. His speech was particularly beneficial for students presenting projects related to technology and engineering.
The exhibition was supported by prestigious organizations like the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), The Institution of Engineers, India (IEI), and the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC). It was also sponsored by the Indus Center for Startups, Incubation & Innovation (ICSII) and the Students Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP).
The 2024 Annual Project Exhibition at Indus University was a celebration of new ideas, creativity, and technical skills. It demonstrated the university’s commitment to helping its students succeed and take leadership in the fields of science, technology, and engineering, showcasing the visionary foundation laid by the university founders, Mr. Nagesh Bhandari and Mrs. Ritu Bhandari, towards ensuring a bright future for the students.
