JOJO App, a leader in regional content, has officially announced the launch of its new original web series, ‘Gotilo,’ which is set to premiere on April 9, 2026. Set against a rural backdrop, the series offers a unique blend of suspense and comedy designed to keep audiences hooked from beginning to end.
The story revolves around Naagji Gotilo, a character known for being incredibly stubborn, greedy, and stingy. Famous in his village for his eccentric habits and obsession with saving money, Naagji’s life takes a dramatic turn during a land deal. While the other village partners are eager to sell the land to fulfill their dreams, Naagji blocks the deal out of pure ego and a hunger for a higher price. Despite several attempts by the villagers to convince him, Naagji refuses to budge. Following a decisive meeting called to settle the dispute, Naagji suddenly disappears. His mysterious absence leaves the village in a state of panic, raising questions about whether he met with foul play or staged the disappearance himself.
The series features an impressive ensemble of Gujarati cinema’s finest talent. Produced by a team including Dhruvin Shah and Shlok Rathod, the show is directed by Henil Gandhi and written by Raviraj Singh. Veteran actor Sanjay Goradia takes the lead as Naagjibhai, supported by a stellar cast including Deep Vaidya, Ragi Jani, Prem Gadhvi, Gaurang Anand, Ujjwal Dave, and Archana Desai.
